Turning Cooking Fails into Business Success: My Journey from Kitchen Mishaps to 7-Figure Entrepreneur


I’m very very proud of myself.

I have successfully cooked 4 chicken thighs today.

It’s edible and everything.

I’m going to preserve the last one for posterity.

Believe it or not, this is a huge win for me. 

When I was in high school, my Home Ec teacher, saw just how badly I was struggling with “the cooking stuff.” 

After a few weeks of disastrous cooking experiments… I mean assignments… she put her arm around me and said, “I think we need to find something else for you, my dear.”

She walked me across the campus to Ms. Easterling’s Economics class, and helped me get enrolled in every business class offered.

I aced every one of them. Top of my class in even the toughest business law classes.

Nothing has changed.

I still burn toast and overcook spaghetti, But I can launch a six or seven-figure business with my eyes closed and look at someone else’s business and tell them three things they can immediately do to stop working so freaking hard & make more money.

We all have our gifts.
